Shaurya Chauahn is not only gorgeous but is a skilled performer too. She is a real dancing delight, and has proved her talent in the movie "Mumbai Salsa". This young actress has worked with Priyadarshan, Vikram Bhatt and has also done an item number with Salman Khan. She started off her career with a Malayalam flick entitled Vettam which was directed by Priyadarshan. After such a great kick start she decided to work in Mumbai theatre where she got the chance to work with Nadira Zahir Babbar and Zakir Hussain in a Prithvi play entitled "Raja Bahadur". This young beauty has shoot for kingfisher calendar too. As a child she always wanted of becoming a great gymnast. Being a gymnast she has to prepare her body for movements closely related to dancing. So this developed her inclination towards performing arts.
Her idol in Bollywood is Kajol. "I really adore Kajol a lot. She’s such a bindaas woman and yet she hold’s her own despite being so casual. She just chooses to be herself and that gives her acting a degree of comfort most actors would die for" she said. Like any other star she also has a dream of working under Yash Raj banner. But she says "till that happens i have other work to keep me busy".
